If you’ve landed onto this page, you are obviously no stranger to a smoothie bowl. They are easy to make, fun to experiment with and incredibly pretty to look at (if you have the time to dress them up)! I went on a serious smoothie bowl binge back in the days of my ‘funemployment’ and I had slipped for awhile and made up excuses for myself that I was too busy to make them in the mornings before I started work.
But don’t fret, I’m back. And this time, with a little help from my friends at Organicules. Adding these extra superfoods to my smoothie bowls have been amazing and to be honest, I can’t believe I ever stopped in the first place. Don’t get me wrong, there are days where I honestly do find myself too busy to make my breakfast bowl, let alone prettify them. But I just end up just making my morning coffee and mixing it with Organicule Superfoods Cacao Powder and rushing out the door -- what’s important is that I’m at least getting my superfood intake somehow!
Upon starting my smoothie bowl hype again, I find that they really do energise you and give you a headstart to your day -- why did I ever stop making these?! In the upcoming months I’ll be sharing a series of different bowls and recipes that are easy to whip up with just a few ingredients that don’t need to be too harsh on your pockets.
It also might seem a bit overwhelming for you that I seem to put all the powders in the same concoction but because of my jam packed schedule, I don’t have a lot of other opportunities to make or experiment with my other meals. The most important thing to take away is that you should figure out what works best for you and to have fun with your breakfast bowls in the morning!

- Fresh Orange Juice
- Frozen Mangoes
- Frozen Pineapples

Blended in my Breville Blend Active blender (GODSEND)
- Frozen Blueberries
- Fresh Strawberries
- Unsweetened Coconut Flakes
- Organicule Superfoods Cacao Nibs
